|Summary||0001154: Additional permissions to add to a group|
For larger companies or call centres using Elastix, many companies wish to provide department (line) managers with rights to view all calls made by their staff in the CDR, without providing them with full administrator rights to the system.
As you know, Admin user has the ability to see all calls, but this is hard coded into the code. Ideally, this hard coding could be changed to check permission, whether they can see all extensions.
So the request is to provide a permission which can be assigned to a group that allows them to see all calls (not just calls associated with their extension)
Here just for FYI is a post from the forum from a user called Stella with the current "hack" that is being used.
